A "non-brownie" Post...

I love when Hailey 'plays' Guitar Hero with her Daddy and I finally got a picture of her.  She got a Hannah Montana guitar for Christmas and whenever he plays she runs and grabs hers. I wish they weren't standing behind the couch, but they are still cute!

She's using her "Star Power" in this one!

We are also loving our extra hour of daylight in the evenings.  We went out today after dinner and played in the backyard.

And look!!  The azaleas are starting to bloom!!!

My little ones were feeling like sharing some dandelion seeds with our neighbors and making some wishes while they were at it!

I love how their little cheeks  and hands look in these pictures.

 

I'm so Weak...

You guys are no help at all!!

All your comments about brownies sounding good, and you going and making some for yourself just made my self control go out the window. The kitchen window. And then I headed right over to the pantry and grabbed a box of these sweet things.

So yes, I did make browines last night at 9:30 (or 10:30). However you looked at the clock they were still delicious!! And Darren was glad I did because when he got home this morning he ate two =)

"Meet The Robinsons"

Yesterday afternoon I noticed that our backyard was infested with an entire flock of robins! There had to have been over 50 of them. They were ruffeling through the pinestraw and looking around the yard for yummy treats, I'm sure.

I took these pictures from the dinning room window with my zoom so they aren't the best, but I didn't want to go outside (my munchkins would have scared them to death).

The roots of these trees have little pockets that collect water when it rains (or snows)! I saw a couple of them using them as little bird baths! Pedro uses them as outdoor water bowls!!One of them spotted me!

Well.... I think I'm going to go have another brownie =)

Don't Forget...

...to Spring Forward tonight before you go to bed or you'll be late for church in the morning!!

I keep looking at the clock, because it's technicaly 10pm not 9 and I really want to make a batch of brownies but baking browines at 10 at night sounds a little bad doesn't it?!?! Especially since I'm the only one here that is awake! But I have about 5 loads of laundry to fold so I really could use some sort of 'prize' at the end of that mountain =)
I know.... I'll just skip the laundry, and watch ER. Even exchange. Save the laundry for tomorrow. (That's why I have so many loads... I keep saving it for 'tomorrow')!!

Let it Snow?!?!

March 1st blew in with a big surprise for Middle Georgia. I say surprise, but we were really warned of it. The weather men told us to look for snow but I don't think any of us believed that we were going to actually get any.... I mean come on... on Saturday I had my airconditioner on... it was 73 inside my house!

The kids and I left the house for church and they could hardly stay buckled in their seats. It was just starting to fall.

We got to church and I had to beg them to come inside with me. They wanted to stay outside of course!! Hailey was beside herself with joy. She has asked for snow for over a year now!!

By this point I think Jack was ready to be inside!

It snowed the entire time we were in services!! We sat on the second to last pew and the kids watched out the doors! The adults did too =) It started sticking to the cars and ground about an hour after it started. As soon as church was over everybody cleared out to see our Georgia snow storm!! The kids played, and ran, and caught snowflakes on their tongues.

Dawn looked like a flocked tree by the time she stopped taking her pictures! You should check out her 'snow' post too! She got some really good pictures and even some videos!!

I think this will go down in history as one of Hailey's most bestest days EVER!!!

The kids however did not get a snow day today so I decided to get my grocery shopping done. I'm still an ameture at this couponing thing, but I think I did pretty good.

Here is my Publix trip.

I was going to try to get just 1 free pack of toilet paper at Kroger, but some crazy person must have had the same idea as Tabby and bought out the entire store =) There wasn't even one little package left for me! I'll go back in a couple of days and try again...It's free, why not?!?!
