Sewing for Baby

I jumped right into two of my projects tonight. I just couldn't wait and they seemed pretty easy. This is the first time I've appliqued and it was F.U.N.! I made two onesies for new baby boy...whose name is more than likely Collin Michael. (or should it be Colin?? what do you think about the spelling?) I got the tie tutorial from this site. For the C; I basically did the same as the tie but found a font I liked from Word and went from there...

Tomorrow I plan on trying something girly :) Stay tuned...

Very cute! I especially love the tie! Noah needed those when we he was a tiny baby. Makes me want another boy.

I hope you guys get all the snow you want and your babes can build their snowman.

Wow, so cute! I need to learn how to work my sewing machine... I am really not that great with it.

I love the name Collin! Colin is a very common way to spell it. I think I like your way better though!

Bless! Those are precious. I would love to learn how to do that stuff.

I like Collin better, just because the other is just waiting to be pronounced like COLON. Either way, though, I think that's a beautiful boy's name.

Those little onesies are adorable!! I wish I could make stuff like that. And I love the name - I'm voting for the double "L" I like names that are a little different.

So where's the snow????

AWW love these girl! saw something online with the ties similar and they wanted way to much money. congrats on you for making them! Now on to the name.ALL mykids have C or K names and oddly all have middle names that start with M!!! Collin, cole,Kaden were all my top names. One of the reasons I didn't pick Collin is bc people kept sayin COLON like the organ UGH cant you read people or spell? geesh and then i would spell it with 2 l"S like hello COL-LIN still no they didn't get it. I just couldn't imagine going his whole life correcting peeps. We already do that with our simple last name lol BUT I LOVE THE NAME so go for it. And I vote COLLIN ! sorry for the long post as you can see i still have residual anger lol

I went to school with a Colin and it was pronounced colon. I think people will be more inclined to pronounce it the way you want by spellng it Collin.
Love the onesies. Hope you have a big "snow" day. We are getting a really big "rain" day here in central FL. Looks like snow back home though.
Love,
Grandma

I think two ll's are nice, and if they are too dumb to not be able to pronouce it correctly thats their problem, who would even of thought that!
