Lukey's Football Game

I put the Roamer because we could not get this child to sit still.... he walked all over the place and I even had to go after him under the bleachers! You DO NOT want to know the things I saw under there. After the game he took off and we didn't know where he went.... Luke then brings him out from the locker room where all the players had gone!!! OMGosh :)

Luke's daddy, 4 brothers, and both sets of grandparents were there to cheer him on. Our crew, Momma Jan and the Durants joined in on the fun!

We all had a great time and I can't wait to go to the next game!!

Yesterday was my baby's 4th birthday. We had a super busy day up in Atlanta visiting the aquarium. It was so much fun and he was so sure he was supposed to have another party. I mean it was his REAL birthday :) His party however was the weekend before when all our friends came to visit. I'll post more about the aquarium trip later, for now...here's the party!

He wanted to have his party at Burger King with the indoor playground, but he wanted a Bolt party too... we had touches of Bolt here and there :)

What I learned tonight....

• Don't try to make cake pops for the first time starting at 10:30pm.

• When the 'dipping' part doesn't start till midnight we have a major problem.

• They are not going to turn out cute enough to take as snack for your son's class to celebrate his birthday.

• Thank goodness you can run to the grocery store in the morning to grab a fast substitute!

• I've got lots of little cake balls in my fridge... I'll try again... earlier in the day when I'm not so tired :)

My first projects...

So I just got my first sewing/embroidery machine a few weeks ago. Before I got sick....along with everyone else in Warner Robins I managed to finish a couple of projects.

See my little two year old in this Beatles shirt.... so cute. Noah gave it to him and I believe this started his love of the Beatles. He wore it through that winter, then we cut off the black sleeves so he could wear it during the warmer weather. He still can 'squeeze' into it (only for sleeping purposes).
I kept saying I wanted to turn it into a pillow for him and I finally got started.

I bought some grey Jersey knit for the back.

Here's the finished project! I'm happy with it considering I've NEVER used a sewing machine in my life!

This was the second thing I made.... A passie clip :)

My mom wants me to make her a pillow next (NOT from her favorite tshirt)... It's scarier making something for someone else... I think I need some lessons first :)
