Friday we were pleasantly surprised with lots of snow (for Middle GA!!)
About 3 o’clock in the afternoon we took our first trip outside to play. It had been snowing for a while but had finally started sticking!
Catching snowflakes on her tongue!
Pedro ventured out with us. He ran full speed around the yard!! But after that one little romp in the snow he was done.
Don’t you love Jack’s huge gloves (Hailey’s too for that matter).
After our clothes did a cycle in the dryer and hot chocolate was served we ventured out again. The snow was still coming down and much thicker now.
Eating snow…
The snowball fight!
Jack’s snowman…
Didn’t last long… it became a punching bag!
Hailey’s snowman…
Also didn’t last long!
Once it started getting dark I tried to get a shot of how big the flakes were. It was really a beautiful day!! I can say that knowing it would pretty much all be gone the next day. Snow is pretty, but hard to live in weeks on end. Living in Washington, Wyoming, and D.C. was enough for me… I’m fine with getting little days like this every now and then :)

I'm so happy that you guys got your snow! How fun. It cracks me up that they tore down their snowmen.
We got over three inches up here, very pretty. I would prefer it stick around longer though. Oh to be in Colorado...
Love all your snow pics. You are making some cute stuff for the baby. Can't wait to meet him!
