Only Two Weeks Late….

I’m so not in the mood for blogging lately! I have been way more tired with this pregnancy than the other two. Sitting down to edit pictures is just not appealing to me at the moment. But I’m doing great and so is the little bean.

Here is it’s first appearance at 7weeks. Not much to see but a little heartbeat, which was the most important part! With the other two the ‘heart rate’ theory was right on. Hailey’s was always fast :160’s or higher…. Jack’s was always lower: 130-150.  This one was 135 so Darren is taking an early guess for boy. I have no instinct what so ever right now. No dreams…nothing.

On to current events (just a little late).  Jack was the Hulk and Hailey was Tinkerbelle for Halloween!!    We headed out to the Lineberger’s farm for our church’s annual Truck-or-Treat

They just got new pigs that week. Jack (hulk) Ralston (spidey) Hailey (tink) Time for truck-or-treating!!   Then we had a HUGE bonfire.  Jack would not go near it so he missed out on the hay/tractor rides.  I couldn’t get a picture of Hailey riding because Jack would scream in terror if I went out in the field!! They had a blast though and got so much candy!

Can’t wait for next year!!

Georgia National Fair 2009

  We made it to the fair on the last day.  It was beautiful weather. We went Sunday afternoon and had a blast…although the crowd was huge!!

Hailey had such a great time riding.  She is not afraid of any of them (unless they go upside down) She got her money’s worth out of that armband!

Jack however, just couldn’t do it. He got into a few lines… even made it on a couple of rides but was quickly pulled off due to hysteria.

Time for snacks.

They got cotton candy and snowcones.  Mommy got some peach cobbler with ice cream (Yummy!)And one last picture…..

Can someone tell me what this is?!?!? It was hanging out in between our crape myrtles.  The back had the spider like legs…it made a huge web…but check out the body!! I thought it looked quite Halloweenie!  

Rain vs. Fair

The rain won....we got to the GA National Fair just in time to pay for admission, walk to the midway and BAM! The Rains Came Tumbling Down!! We tried to beat the odds, but spent our time just watching the lighting and figuring out when to run back to the car. They did give us a pass to come back (thank goodness). So we made a run for it, grabbed a bag of cotton candy on the way out, ran in all the puddles, and made it home in one piece. My kids were so disappointed!! Hopefully the rain will stop today so we can try again sometime this weekend.

Sunflowers and Roosters

Me and the kids went out to the Lineberger's this past Wednesday. My mom had been telling me about their HUGE fields of sunflowers that were in full bloom. I had been there earlier this year and they had a few rows in their garden....but this was unbelievable!! Sunflowers as far as you could see, I don't know how many acres!

I wanted to get the kids out there and take pictures but it quickly became rainy....I got these from their road on our way to their house.

Of course we stopped by to see Hailey's "chickens" They all ended up being roosters! If you haven't heard the story behind them click HERE, HERE, or HERE
One of them was crowing over and over again. I asked Tal if they only do it in the morning... He said they do it whenever they want! I was able to catch him on video :-) A lot different from those little peeps we used to hear!

Just another quick thank you for all those praying on behalf of my mom. She is home now and doing really well. She will go see her surgeon in around the 19th and then get scheduled for her radiation. I'll let everyone know as it gets closer.

This evening we took the kids to see the Toy Story double feature in 3D. They had a really good time and I was so surprised at how well they lasted through two movies. It was fun and we got to see the preview for the upcoming Toy Story 3. We all basically ate popcorn for dinner and Jack fell in love with Dr.Pepper! Oh no... I wonder if he'll go to sleep tonight?
