Just a quick little shout-out to my home town of Warner Robins!! I went to the Yahoo! home page and there was an article being featured from the finance section that was titled "The Best Places to Raise Your Kids 2009" So I just thought I'd check it out and see what it said for Georgia. Guess what??? WARNER ROBINS was the #1 place to live to raise your kids :-) How cool is that?!? Here is the link to the article in case you want to see how your state did.
Warner Robins is great....
We've got the Air Force Base, that's how my parents got here back in the 80's...they fell in love with the town and when my dad retired in 1996 we moved back. No job, no house, just knew that this is where they wanted to live. Along with the base comes the Air Museum. It's a big hit whenever you have company come visit.
And currently we have quite an awesome High School football team. The Northside Eagles have won back to back state championships!!
And our Little League team won the World Series last year!!
I personally love it because of my wonderful church family and all the friends who make my life so full. My parents also live right around the corner and I love that my kids get to grow up having Grandma and Papa right down the street!
So what do you love about your town....or what do you NOT love about it??

I love how you jumped in your plane and took the pic of the planes at the base. I am equally impressed with how you were able to get not one but TWO championship teams to get dressed for a picture! Go you!
It is funny that we just moved here on a whim--look at how it turned out!
You are so right...Warner Robins is awesome! I'm so glad I got live there...even if it was just for a little while...look what awesome friends I have now because of it! :)
Yeah, I saw that article too. It makes me feel so good knowing my child will grow up in such a wonderful town.
i would love to live in warner robins, sniff, sniff...teardrop
That's awesome. It makes me feel really good about raising my kids here. The only bad thing about it being a military town is that you make all these great friends and within a year or so they have to move away. Thank goodness y'all are stuck here like us :-P
This was on the news last night and also featured in Businessweek magazine. BUSINESSWEEK! Our town ROCKS!
love your header!!
