We started off this day by having a great breakfast at our resort’s restaurant. It was buffet style. There were a lot of traditional foods to choose from with a little Spanish flare added to some of them.
After filling our belly’s we were off to the Magic Kingdom!
It was very foggy that morning, but we knew that would quickly change! The high was about 87* that day which is a good 10* above normal for that time of year.
You couldn’t even see the castle from Main Street!
We did really good with the character greetings. The kids wanted to meet everybody and since we were there for so long we didn’t mind waiting for that. I’m sure next time we go we won’t do this as much.
They picked out their ‘ears’ that morning.
Our first ride of the day… It’s a Small World.
Proof that Jack rode: I promise Darren did not ride this by himself!!
Tigger and Pooh Alien eating Jack’s head! Mickey’s houseI liked the tomatoes and pumpkins!
Minnie and Mickey Inside Minnie’s house… you can tell Jack is ready for lunch! After lunch it was time for the parade! And look, there’s the castle!! We can finally see it through all the fog!
Woody shook Jack’s hand… I thought he was going to pass out!We took a little rest after the parade back in our room and then headed back to M.K. for the evening.
I’m so thankful we took our stroller. First of all they are super expensive to rent everyday. Secondly I never realized how much my 6 and 4 yr old would use it. Jack pretty much sat in it the whole time.
We all loved the Buzz Lightyear ride!!
Hailey and Daddy riding the teacups!
She also rode Space Mountian that night too! And LOVED it!!
The castle is decorated with tons of lights at night and we got a great view of Tinkerbell (the REAL one) flying out the top over Main Street before the fireworks show!
We called it a night and headed for our bus.
