On the fence between Summer and Fall...

Do you know how much I love Fall?!? The weather, the colors, the smells :-) It really is my favorite season. This morning you could just feel the freshness in the air as I took Hailey to school. It made me think that that crisp Fall air might just be around the corner!! I came home and got busy bringing out the Fall decor! I just can't help myself...besides I have to enjoy it now...as soon as October starts I'm breaking out the Halloween!! :-)I redid the baker's rack in the kitchen...changed the flower arrangement, candle holders....Put some awesome smelling orange potpourri on there too. This is new for me...I've never hung anything from a chandelier like this. Do you think it looks okay?? Well, I have hung paper carrots from it at Easter :-)My mom got me the candle holders on the dinning room table. They are from Kirklands (our favorite store!)Amber, the candle smell great! Thank you!!Mom made me this wreath last year.Pumpkins on the hearth..Now heading outside! The front door wreath...My find at Hobby Lobby last week! Too cute! Fall IS my favorite :-)The little pumpkin is just for a test...I want some hay, real pumpkins as it gets closer to October. But just on the other side of the walkway it still looks like Summer!! The flowers are blooming like crazy! And I love it. I'm torn between wanting fall and enjoying the colorfulness of the blooms! The bees were even out getting a snack this morning! Jack loved watching them.Even my azaleas are blooming in the front flower bed!! I guess they are the 'all season' brand and bloom multiple times a year. It was a nice surprise.Jack helped me water everything, and I mean everything! He made mud puddles and cleaned the trees! It was lots of fun!!
So what season are you wanting...
Do you want Fall to hurry up or Summer to linger on??

I don't know...I'm pretty partial to fall...but I feel like the summer went by just a little too fast. I didn't really enjoy as much as I wanted to. (Except for my trip to GA of course.) :)

Love all your decorations! You are such a little Martha Stewart...and I love the stuff on the chandelier. I had something sort of like that hanging from mine in the old house.

I love fall too...and you have inspired me to dig out my Fall (who knows where it is after the move) and put it up this weekend :)

I'm so jealous! Aric was about to smack me the other night at walmart when I saw that they had little pumpkins out in the produce section.

I like the light, it looks good!

It's so hot here it doesn't feel like fall is around the corner. We are having to keep an eye on Ike, we may be headed back up to GA. I told Aric that hurricane season is a bad time to be prego.

I love Fall too. It's my favorite time to decorate. Your decorations are beautiful. I love those candle holders you have on your "shelf". What do you call that thing?
I put garland on my chandelier at Christmas and loved it. I wanted to leave it up there. I would love to find some like you have to put up now. We don't have a Kirklands!!

Baker's Rack, that's what it's called!
Is your rooster made out of wood?
We bought one today at the Apple Festival in SC that looks a lot like that.

I love fall best, the cool weather and xmas right around the corner. Your mom told me years ago that you were the only one she knew besides me that put their xmas tree up practically in the fall, or was that her? Anyway, not bad decorating, it looks great!

Fall is my favorite too. The smell of fall in the air makes me feel young. Your decorations look great. I almost bought a fall wreath the other day, but I thought it seemed to early. You are right though, it will be time to put up Halloween before we know it.

Stacia, your decorations are beautiful! You had a great teacher, that's for sure! Fall is my favorite season, too! I love to be able to open up the house, and get that fresh cool air. I also love the fall colors, and the changing of the leaves (of course, I have to travel to GA to see them). Aunt Sue-Sue
