After checking into our hotel, we headed out for a long night at Hollywood Studios. We got there about 5pm and had extra hours till 11pm. Here are the kids in front of the tree right outside the park entrance.
Right of the bat we were able to convince Jack to ride the Star Wars ride. He protested through the line but never cried. He did great and we were so happy to get that under our belt… But each ride was preceded with a big pep talk.
One of the coolest things we got to see there that night was the Osborne Festival of Lights. Every inch of the buildings were covered in lights and they all danced to the Christmas music. Hailey just loved it!
We ran over to Pizza Planet for dinner! (if you’ve seen Toy Story you know how cool Pizza Planet is!)
We ate pizza (big surprise) and played a couple of games.
Darren even played a little too.
We saw Fantasmic. It was awesome and these pictures do not do it justice. Toy Story Midway Mania! was on our agenda next.
The Little Mermaid show.
And right before we left for the night…
Darren and Hailey rode the Tower or Terror!!! She loved it and was talking 90mph after she got off.
Up next: Magic Kingdom

I love, love, love the Toy Story ride & I'm so happy that they enjoyed the Tower of Terror. Was the wait 13 minutes?
The Christmas lights are beautiful - My first trip to Disney was during Christmas and I still remember all those decorations.
I really want to go to Disney at Christmas next time now. That looks so awesome!
Stacia, the Osborne lights were beautiful. I have never been there during the holidays. One day, we will do that. Looks like you had an awesome night....and that was just your first night!
Those lights are beautiful! We love Hollywood--the Toy Story ride is our fav. They make a game for it on the wii and it even comes with 3d glasses. We ordered it for Christmas and hopefully it will be waiting on us when we get home, but it looks like the exact same thing as the disney ride.
Hailey didn't ride the rock-n rollercoaster????!!!! Can't wait to see all your pics!
I wish I could decorate my house with lights like that haha, looks like youhad a great time. And the little mermaid is my favorite!
I know what you mean about the PEP talks before a ride. Michael would sorta lie to Ben about what the ride was about...it worked. He rode Soarin' at Epcot and Expedition Everest at Animal Kingdom! I loved looking at your pics and am looking forward to our trip there in July. Coronado Springs looked really nice!!!!
I love all your pics. Looks like you all had such a great time. I can't wait to go there with Abigail one day. I never thought about going at Christmas time but it seems like that's the best time to go...cool weather and all the Christmas decorations and lights.
