Disney Trip pt.3

We started off this day by having a great breakfast at our resort’s restaurant. It was buffet style.  There were a lot of traditional foods to choose from with a little Spanish flare added to some of them.

After filling our belly’s we were off to the Magic Kingdom!IMG_5960

It was very foggy that morning, but we knew that would quickly change! The high was about 87* that day which is a good 10* above normal for that time of year.IMG_5962

You couldn’t even see the castle from Main Street!IMG_5965

We did really good with the character greetings.  The kids wanted to meet everybody and since we were there for so long we didn’t mind waiting for that.  I’m sure next time we go we won’t do this as much.

They picked out their ‘ears’ that morning.IMG_5967

Our first ride of the day… It’s a Small World.

Proof that Jack rode:IMG_5981IMG_5968    IMG_5974I promise Darren did not ride this by himself!!

I liked the tomatoes and pumpkins!IMG_5995 IMG_5996

Minnie and MickeyIMG_5997 Inside Minnie’s house… you can tell Jack is ready for lunch!IMG_5998After lunch it was time for the parade! And look, there’s the castle!! We can finally see it through all the fog!  IMG_6003

Woody shook Jack’s hand… I thought he was going to pass out!IMG_6030We took a little rest after the parade back in our room and then headed back to M.K. for the evening.    IMG_6035

I’m so thankful we took our stroller.  First of all they are super expensive to rent everyday. Secondly I never realized how much my 6 and 4 yr old would use it.  Jack pretty much sat in it the whole time.

We all loved the Buzz Lightyear ride!!IMG_6045   IMG_6049 IMG_6051 IMG_6059

She also rode Space Mountian that night too! And LOVED it!!

The castle is decorated with tons of lights at night and we got a great view of Tinkerbell (the REAL one) flying out the top over Main Street before the fireworks show!  IMG_6071 IMG_6072

We called it a night and headed for our bus. IMG_6073

Looks like you had a great day. Love the picture of the castle at night, with all the Christmas lights on it. BEAUTIFUL! One thing Disney does know how to do, and that is decorate for the occasion.

Ok - No castle at the end of Main Street is down right creepy!!! I've never seen it like that before. I'm so glad it magically appeared for you again later! :) Hailey did a great job with the rides! We adore Space Mountain & Buzz Lightyear here (can't get Jeff off of Buzz & we can't ride in the same car). I'm so glad you guys had a wonderful time & I can't wait to go again now!!
