Our Awesome Weekend part 1

We started off this Holiday weekend by having our friends arrive from out of town Friday night! We have been looking forward to this for months and counting down the days for the past couple of weeks!! The next morning we had plans to go to a pig show in Perry and Ben and Tabby (our house guests) decided to come along. The Lineberger Boys had entered their pigs and were showing them at the county level. The state level will be this coming weekend.
Here is Luke showing Izzy and Ben his pig.

Hailey was a little worried about all the 'yucky' stuff on the floor in the stalls! She stayed like this on her tippy-toes the entire time. Once in the arena it was time for the show to start. First off is the PeeWee competition! Our kids got to participate!! Each child just pairs up with someone and their pig and they go out and walk the pig!! It was so cool!! Here is Hailey with Hunter.
Here is Jack with Tal!
Here you can see all three of the kids =) The best part was that the kids all got little trophies with pigs on the top of them!! I'll have to get a picture...they are too cute!
Now it was time for the REAL competition! The 'little' boys competed in the same age group of course. Here is Ben (left) and Tal(right). Tal placed First!! Luke (left) and Hunter (right).
Then Tully competed in the older age group. They all did a great job!!
After the show we headed to B.K. to let the kids play and met up with Sarah's crew and got to see the Bramlett's !! We all had lunch and then split to all get ready for the awesome birthday party that was about to take place for Noah!
Here's my mom with little Kirkley!
Up next...the birthday party!!!

It was an awesome weekend, wasn't it? Izzy loved those piggies! She still wants to carry her pig trophy around. :)

It was awesome. I can't wait to see part 2. I'm a little sad we didn't go to the pig show. It looks like the kids had a great time. Are you guys going to the state competition too?

That was nothing like what I had pictured in my head! That was really nice, like a dog show for pigs.
