We Survived Our 1st Wedding!

Our friend Kayla got married Friday night. She is such a sweetheart with an absolutely wonderful family. My mom took care of her when she was a newborn before we got stationed to the Philippines. She met her husband during her freshman year at Falkner last year. This is her younger brother Logan. I babysat both of them, mostly Logan though. He looked really good in his tux :-) Here they are....the man that married them was Chris' youth minister...He did a wonderful job with the ceremony....since they eloped 6 months ago he put a real good twist on it and didn't do the "traditional" service. This was more of a day to celebrate their love in front of their friends and family :-) Hailey and Jack did really good! I was a little worried so I sat on the very back row!! Hailey LOVED watching everyone go down the aisle and all the music. Josh was the ring bearer!! Hailey has a big crush on him! He is 6 and she thinks that is so cool! Here is Ms. Lauren and Logan again...she was very pretty...as always!Mother of the bride, Ms. Trina (her dress was beautiful!)Cutting the cake, Hailey thought it was so funny that they fed each other "like babies"There were the girls' bouquets...My fav flower!!Josh and Hailey :-)Time to throw the flowers! The cute little flower girl caught them!Hailey had the best time blowing bubbles when it was time for the couple to leave! There they go...back to school :-) We are really happy for them and know they made all the right decisions!

Now you may notice that there were a lot of pics of Hailey and not so many of Jack...well he has turned into a little runaway child. He kept scooting off and because it was at our church he felt very comfortable in his surroundings! I was having a very hard time keeping up with him. At one point I had to take Hailey upstairs to the bathroom and that is when I lost him. I thought he came with me and I saw him up there, so we go back downstairs and they are getting ready to leave. I see him running in the room so I think "good he's down here" but he sees me and takes off. So I grab Hailey some bubbles and we head outside where I start scanning for him. I don't see him and I just make sure he's not around when they pull off in the car! So I head back inside to start the HUNT....fist I stop to look across the little street to the church playground to see if I can see any movement in the pitch black...nothing. My friends who are leaving are like what are you doing....as I'm coming back in...then as they go out they see him...on the playground!!! UGHHH!!! What am I going to do with him?!?! A couple of weeks ago he opened my mom's garage door and walked across her street! to the neighbor's house and he just happened to hear him playing with my mom's dog who followed him over their!! All my mom did was run to go to the bathroom and he did all that!! We are going to have to cage him in or something :-)

Now on the the flower planting from the other day....
We put them in the bird bath....
Smells good!
All done!
I am too! Hope everyone has a great Sunday! We are having a potluck!

I'm so glad you posted all of those pictures! Thanks for doing that. The fact that you had potluck on Sunday makes me both love and hate you. Sage had a thing for Josh too. He's just too cute.

The picture of Hailey smelling the flower is beautiful!
